Part Time Executive Director

About

Citrine Angels is a mission-driven community of women investors committed to reshaping who gets funded—and who builds wealth—by investing in women-led companies. Founded in 2019, Citrine Angels is a 501(c)(6) membership nonprofit based in the Washington, DC metro region that brings together more than 80 accomplished members who have collectively invested over $1.8 million in early-stage, venture-backable startups led by women. Our portfolio spans high-impact sectors including healthcare, consumer, and tech.

At the heart of Citrine Angels is a belief that capital, when paired with access, expertise, and community, can drive meaningful economic change. Our members include professional investors, entrepreneurs, lawyers, healthcare leaders, marketers, and operators who are deeply embedded in the entrepreneurial ecosystem. They engage actively with founders—making introductions, providing strategic guidance, and serving as leaders and experts at founder and funder events across the region and beyond.

In late 2025, Citrine Angels expanded its mission with the launch of Citrine Impact, a 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofit subsidiary. Citrine Impact deepens and amplifies our commitment to closing systemic wealth gaps by building more inclusive pathways to capital through education, outreach, and public programming. Together, Citrine Angels and Citrine Impact form a unique platform that blends investing, education, and advocacy to drive long-term economic equity.

Citrine is now seeking a part-time Executive Director to lead the organization into its next phase of growth and impact. This is a high-visibility leadership opportunity for a strategic, mission-aligned executive to steward a respected investment community, oversee both Citrine Angels and Citrine Impact, and help shape the future of women-led investing.
